M.O.V.I.N.G.

no.. not back to Chilliwack.  But closer to town.  Unfortunately for the kids, they will have to change schools.  But that's all part of it isn't it!  I am sure they will be nervous, as will I!  But they are sooo looking forward to unpacking all their things again.  Emmy's birthday presents from last year went straight into a box, so it will be a happy  birthday all over again for her.  We were trying to recap what she all got and none of us could remember much.. some beads, a webkinz, a pot thingy for growing plants, etc.  We will also set up the trampoline, as spring has swiftly arrived here.  I have no pics of the house.. I have only seen the kitchen and dining room inside.  Apparently there is 3-5 bedrooms in there somewhere!  The house is on 2 acres at the end of a dead end road.  And we already have people coming to visit us! The more the merrier.. right?  So come on over.. we have lots of room.  I will post pics as soon as we are "settled" which I can't promise to you earlier than the end of next week!  Have a good week.

We are praising God for answered prayers.  Once again, we prayed through this process and are amazed at how clearly God answered and we knew this was the house for us!  We are truly thankful, as our other option was a 850 sq ft. duplex with 2 bedrooms and no dining room and very little yard.  We would have been thankful for that, as we could also have made it home.

A little excerpt from my weekly devotional.  It was on
E.X.P.E.C.T.A.T.I.O.N.S.

def: a confident belief or strong hope that a particular event will happen.

"Everyone looks to the future with hopes and dreams.  When we allow God to direct those we can get excited about what lies ahead."

Psalm 5:3 " In the morning O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."

Are you waiting for an answer from God?

Gymnastics fun.

Mckenna has the privelege of going to the gymnastics club 5 times with her class.  They needed drivers so I volunteered since I kinda wanted to watch her anyhow.  They only needed me to drive her and some friends once, so it worked out real fine!

They started out by playing this game.  There was 8 hoola-hoops on the perimeter of this mat and 1 in the middle of the mat. .  In each hoola-hoop on the outer edge was something that was like a half-ball.  The hoola-hoop in the middle had 2 of each color (There were 4 different colors).  This is starting to sound real confusing, so I will tell you the point of the game.  They needed to get 3 of the same color "half-balls" in their hoola-hoop (they were partnered up).  As soon as the half ball was on the floor in the hoop, it was free for the taking.  So, more than 1 group was going for the same color ball, so quite often your ball got stolen as soon as you got it to your hoop!

Here they had to walk on their feet and 1 hand and tuck the half ball into the crook of their other hand.

Here they had to do the wheelbarrow with their partner and carry the half ball on their back.

Mckenna's partner is so tiny, she has no arm strength, so they didn't end up getting even one half ball to their hoola hoop.

Here, the instructor is demonstrating what they had to do on the "mushroom."

Swinging!

Climbing the ropes.

Doing a jumping routine on spring boards and trampolines.

Having a blast on the trampoline!

It tired me out just watching them, but she was full of energy yet when she was done!  She would love to go to gymnastics on a regular basis.. maybe when we live closer to town (Don't tell her that :)

Spring is here???!!!

It was 14 degrees.
So we went for a walk.
But it was just winter.
So there is snow
And when it gets warm.
The snow melts.
And becomes slush.
But we had fun anyhow.
It went like this:

Posing... on our road :)

You can't go for a walk with a camera and not take tonnes of pics, can you??? These are a little rustic, as the girls had not done their hair yet today.

It started out innocent.. like this...

and then they were doing this (this picture is not posed)

Which of course ended up like this!

The side of the road was a stream.

Now, who do you think was here?

This is what we were walking through. Not fun when a car drives past too fast.. but it's lot of fune when you can....

DO THIS!!

My beauitful almost 8 year old :)  It was a little windy so it was hard to keep the hair out the face.

What can I say??

According to Mckenna, these were moose tracks.

Walking home.. what a blessing to have been able to live in such a beautiful area.

ALL IN A DAY'S WORK!!!
ENJOY!!!
