A new beginning: Sports Day

Kenna and Emmy's sports day was a little different than the ones I am used to.. but it was still lots of fun. The weather forecast was rain.. but there was none! It was actually quite warm, which was nice for the afternoon events... water relays!

The morning events were relays, tug-a-wars and jumping in the bouncy castle. After a lunch of hamburgers, fruit and veggies and chips (free for all!), they had their water sports.

Emmy, being up at 5:00 that morning, was done by 11:00. She didn't want to participate in anything and didnt want to leave my side. So after lunch, I took her home for a nap. Therefore, I have no pics of the water sports. But here are the ones I do have. Enjoy!

In this one, there were 3 hoops in a row. In each hoop, they had to spin around 3 times and put them hands in their armpits and cluck like a chicken. In the last hoop, there were balls. They had to grab one, hold it in the air and yell chicken, and then run back to the start. Quite funny to watch.
